Alvaro Aro

was born and raised in Peru. He immigrated to the United States in 1999 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from 2005 to 2013. In 2009 he began pursuing his career in Motion Pictures and Television at The Academy of Art University. After getting out of the Marines, he finished his studies at Webster University where he got a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with a Minor in Photography.

Al is a passionate music and food lover, not to mention EVERYTHING ‘visual-related.’ He likes to consider himself as a visual storyteller who has the privilege of pursuing his craft and passion. He’s a Director Of Photography at Spot Content Studio in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri and has obtained a recent Mid-America Emmy nomination. His work ranges from the commercial and corporate world to music videos and narrative films.
